Studying Tips

Students in school can sometimes be unprepared for test and exams.  For me, as a high school student going to Key West High, even I am a little unprepared sometimes. However, I do have some study tips that if you have the time to do, you will definitely be prepared for any test, exam or quiz.

The first tip is very simple, and it is only a single word. That word is “STUDY”. It is one word, but it has many different meanings. You can actually study in a wrong way, for example: if you have a test tomorrow and you haven’t studied all week and then decide to study all day on that one day,  that is bad. This is what students and teachers call cramming. The next day when you finally have to take the test, you will be exhausted from lack of sleep and you wont be able to remember anything. A good example of studying is to study for the test/exam etc. for about 2 hours a day, and a week prior.

My second tip is to create a very comfortable studying environment for yourself. If you are distracted, you won’t be able to focus on your studies.

My third and final tip, is to have a good breakfast or lunch on the day of the test. Your brain will have fuel to think and you wont drift off into space. This is how you can improve in school. If you have any questions, feel free to comment down below.
